UPDATE, July 30: Repairs have been completed to the following intersections:

• Dean Road and Samford Avenue
• Drake Avenue and North College Street

Updates will continue to be provided as repairs to the remaining intersections are completed. The City thanks you for your patience as we work to resolve the signal timing issues as quickly as possible.

July 10, 2026: AUBURN, Ala.- The City of Auburn is working to repair equipment for multiple traffic signals around town in an effort to resolve timing issues.

Faulty equipment at the following intersections is being addressed:

• Bent Creek Road and Hamilton Road
• Drake Avenue and North College Street
• Dean Road and Samford Avenue
• Opelika Road and Mall Parkway

Equipment is anticipated to be repaired or replaced no later than August 10 to allow for optimized signal timing. Until repairs are completed, signal timings will be modified as necessary.

No lane closures are expected, though drivers are advised to use caution around workers in the area. The City thanks you for your patience as we work to resolve the signal timing issues as quickly as possible.
